The pamphlet Elmer picks up at the start of the performance has the word "pwogwam" on it, which is how Elmer Fudd would say "program".
A follow up to the previous year's 'I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat,' this short is also based around a novelty record made by voice actor Mel Blanc. In this specific case, the song is based on Franz Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2", the exact same song that Daffy plays alongside Donald Duck in the famous "Dueling Pianos" scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).
This animated short film was released before Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) in some theaters. It was later re-released in IMAX Theatres in front of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019).
"Daffy Duck: [singing] I'm so full of bullets I'm lit up like a Christmas tree Elmer Fudd: [climbs inside a present and sticks his shotgun out of the opening] Ho, Ho, Ho!"
