STORY

Story
Valentina, Darna's snake-haired arch enemy, is trying to take over the Phillipines through subliminal messages on religious TV shows. Darna has her own problems, however, as she has lost her magic pearl and with it the ability to transform into her scantily clad super self. Trapped as her alter-ego, the plucky reporter Narda, she must try to regain the pearl and foil Valentina's plans.

Trivia

Max was portrayed by Edu Manzano. He previously portrayed Dominico Lipolico in the predecessor Darna (1991) .

In the helicopter scene where the vehicle is flying that had 2 pilots on the original version, the background was green screened since it was filmed at a warehouse. On the remastered version, the blue sky was digitally added as replacement of the green screen thanks to vfx experts.
