De Dhakka 2, the sequel to the iconic Marathi comedy De Dhakka, directed by Sudesh and Mahesh Manjrekar, follows the Jadhav family on a hilarious journey to London for a business event where Makarand (Makarand Anaspure) is set to be felicitated. However, things take an unexpected turn when a fraud businessman threatens the integrity of Makarand's work, and the family must seek revenge. Although the film relies entirely on slapstick comedy, it's a fun ride and a refreshing break from the era of dark comedies, thrillers and dramas. The performances and comic timing of every actor, particularly Anaspure and Siddharth Jadhav, are impressive. While logic is not the film's strong point, it's not intended to be a message-driven or logical film; it's purely for mass entertainment. Though the film has its fair share of loose ends and "Why?" moments, it's a decent watch that'll make you laugh and leave your brains at home.

Film was set to release on 03January 2020 and also had a poster release.But got delayed due to legal battle with Zee studios who claimed rights over the sequel the high court dismissed the plea of Zee studios.But film got stuck due to COVID pandemic.
