As noted by the person who reviewed this movie, this was Doug McClure's last movie before he was lost at the early age of 65 to cancer. He played a gun hand for Peyton McKay (Bruce Dern) and his character name was Granger. In The Virginian, his character Trampas worked for John and Clay Granger at the Shiloh Ranch. Rest in peace, Mr. McClure.
