Devkhel is a psychological crime thriller set in the coastal village of Devtali in Ratnagiri. The series revolves around a chilling mystery where every year on the night of Holi Pournima, a person dies under mysterious circumstances. The villagers blindly believe these deaths are divine punishment by a mythical folk figure named Shankasur. When a new police inspector, Vishwas Saranjame, is assigned to the village, he refuses to accept the superstitious beliefs and begins to investigate what he believes is a series of well-planned murders.
