The high school they use in the film is the same high school used for Beacon Hills High in the TV series Teen Wolf (2011-2017).

Lucy Hale's character is a High School junior, and then senior in this film. She was born in 1989, and the film was released in 2018, making her 29 years old at the time.

DONKEY KONG video game opening shows the big ape with the question "how high can you get?" above his head! Their DONKEY BONG has the same goal!

Austin Abrams (James) previously worked with Nat Wolff on Paper Towns (2015). Nat Wolff is the older brother of Alex Wolff (Noah).
