Forensic expert has refuted Elize's claims of having disposed Yoki Matsunaga's pieces herself. "She had all that detailed care and caution when chopping him, only to throw his parts right beside a road? My guess is, 'I cut him up, you throw it out'. Someone helped her on this." The crime scene had been far too cleaned for Elize to have acted out alone.
Surveilance footage shows Elize Matsunaga buying a chainsaw on the day of the murder. Though she may have used it to cut the Yoki up, this item has never been found. Instead, investigators found an older chainsaw that the couple reportedly used to open up wine containers.
