This is Jody Gibson's only acting role. Gibson eventually became known as Sasha and was nicknamed the Hollywood Super Madam. She owned one of the world's largest escort services, providing over 300 girls to over a thousand clients worldwide (including, according to her, Bruce Willis).
The murder of the delivery boy was added at the insistence of the investors. They claimed there wasn't enough kills in the first half of the film.
Vestron Pictures offered a 3-picture deal to director Brascia and Producer Steven Baio for the distribution rights to "Evil Laugh". Brascia and Baio declined. A decision they openly regret.
Dominick Brascia decided to direct the film for budgetary reasons.
At the beginning of the movie there is a fangoria magazine. The headline is for Friday the 13th: A new beginning. Dominick Brascia also starred in this film.
