The radio station in the movie, KSPN, is a real radio station in Aspen. The equipment used for the KSPN studio, however, was actually outdated and unused equipment from KMTS in nearby Glenwood Springs.

The trailer narrator in the original theatrical trailer for the film is the legendary Don LaFontaine, and the song featured in the trailer is "You Move Me" by Rick Astley.
