The movie prop is an adaptation of pre-Raphaelite John Collier's 1897 painting which now hangs in Coventry's Herbert Art Gallery and Museum. However, for Hollywood in 1950 Godiva has acquired a tulle wrap to hide parts of exposed flesh.
