The show's script is extremely well-written and is of the gold standard. The storyline forces the audience to feel for Sunny and Firoz from the first episode. They are victims of the system and want to do what it takes. Shahid Kapoor, in his debut television performance, definitely leaves a mark and has done a great job playing the role of Sunny. Vijay Sethupati, as Michael, has done an exceptional job. His character is one of a kind, and he portrays him effortlessly. The rest of the cast is well-suited and has done a fantastic job portraying the rather witty storyline. The blend of themes of corruption, relationships, politics, and drama is thoroughly entertaining and worthy of a binge-watch. The humor and witty dialogue add more value to the series. It is a perfect crime drama thriller that showcases relevant contemporary issues and keeps the audience hooked until the end.

When the project was first planned it was meant to be a feature film starring Shahid Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddique. Later on when the project became a web series Vijay Sethupathi stepped into Nawazuddin's role.
