"For All Mankind" is a documentary film directed by Al Reinert, released in 1989. The film chronicles the history of NASA's Apollo space program, focusing on the Apollo 11 mission that successfully landed humans on the moon in 1969. The film includes footage of the moon landing and interviews with Apollo astronauts and mission control personnel. The film was well-received by critics and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 1990. One of the negative things about the documentary is that the storytelling is very confusing and fails to give a clear description to its viewer and the way in which two storylines have been merged makes things more difficult to comprehend. Overall, the film is not great but if you are looking for something that is based on similar concepts of space and reality. It aims to provide a brief description of the struggles faced by people of color in outer space exploration.
