TRIVIA

Trivia

No lip-syncing for Penn Badgley who sang live throughout the entire film.

The song that leads into the end credits, "Lilac Wine" was sung by Penn Badgley but originally by Nina Simone. Without the rights to Jeff Buckley's music, they had to get creative and used a song that Jeff had famously covered.

Like Jeff, Penn is left-handed but plays guitar right-handed.

Penn Badgley got into Jeff Buckley's music when he was seventeen.

Director Dan Algrant was close to giving up on this project when he viewed Penn's audition tape.
