Hello! Remember Me? HoiChoi moves beyond the well-known Hello series starring Joy Sengupta and Raima Sen and attempts to construct a new narrative with a new cast of characters, focusing largely on the two major characters — Tori and Malini. Malini (Ishaa Saha), who is significantly pregnant, travels to the mountains with her husband and family. There, they meet Tori (Paayel Sarkar), an ex-girlfriend who was Malini's college classmate and appears to have located her and is determined to do things that might seriously harm her. Tori is portrayed as a villain who wants to upend Malini's life and her family's pretended peace and tranquilly. However, there are secrets there that might jeopardise how the family sees one another and works as a unit if they were to come to light. With random close-ups and strange background music, the plot wanders on and the initial mystery is just overstated. However, in reality, much of the action takes place in the protagonist's brain and the memories and imagination frequently cross paths. Except for several flashbacks when Tori and Malini's relationship, and a very typical relationship at that, is revealed, Sahana Dutta's writing leaves out a lot of the background information. Beyond the smouldering stare she never stops giving and her waves, Tori doesn't really appear to pose much of a danger, apart from calling Malini Bonolota and singing songs. She does tell her husband (Abir, portrayed by Sourav Chakraborty), who seems to have little trouble believing a virtual stranger rather than his own wife who is about to give birth to their kid, about Malini's previous affair, but it is surprisingly simple to persuade him.
