TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

When the Bannings fly to England, the pilot's voice is that of Dustin Hoffman (Captain Hook) - "This is your captain speaking..."

Robin Williams became best friends with director Steven Spielberg while making this movie. Reportedly, after Williams' death, Spielberg decided to watch this movie out of rememberance, but couldn't finish it because he couldn't stop crying for several hours.

The kissing couple on the bridge who begin to float when some fairy dust lands on them as Tinkerbelle takes the unconscious Peter back to Neverland were George Lucas and Carrie Fisher in a cameo.

Dame Maggie Smith, being only 56 years old at the time of filming, was aged by make-up to play 92-year-old Granny Wendy.

Bob Hoskins (Smee) bought beer for three hundred plus extras after a lengthy and complicated scene was cut.

Popular Dialogues

"[last lines] Granny Wendy: So... your adventures are over. Peter Banning: Oh, no. To live... to live would be an awfully big adventure."

"Captain James Hook: Prepare to die, Peter! Peter Banning: To die would be a grand adventure! Captain James Hook: Death is the only adventure you have left!"
