Filmed between July and August 11, 2023 during both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike without having an interim agreement with the SAG-AFTRA that allowed actors to shoot during the strike, thus breaking the strike rules. The main actresses are SAG members, and the film was bought by American distributor IFC Films during the strike. The SAG-AFTRA never commented on this film and its stars breaking their strike rules.
