TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

22-year-old Maximo was played by Eugenio Derbez's real son.

This is the first American movie released simultaneously in its original language (English) and dubbed to Spanish.

The younger version of Eugenio is Vladir Derbez. The waiter at the party is also Eugenio's son Jose Eduardo. Both have been actors in Mexico for years.

Rick's (Rob Lowe's) ringtone is "Thank You For Being a Friend", the theme music for The Golden Girls (1985). Very appropriate for a gigolo living with an older woman.

The music playing over the spa montage is "Call Me", the theme music from American Gigolo (1980).

Popular Dialogues

"Maximo: Peggy dumped me... I have no home, no money, no helicopter..."

"Maximo: You cheated on me with a car salesman? Peggy: No!... A little..."
