Patrick Joslyn (drag persona Joslyn Fox), who appears as the bartender in the nightclub, was a fellow contestant alongside Roy Haylock on season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race (2009).
Roy Haylock had to film the hallway exchange between Bianca Del Rio and Deborah Ward without heels on because the height difference was too dramatic between him and Rachel Dratch.
Alyssa Edwards, who plays Ambrosia Salad, did not know ambrosia salad wasn't a normal salad. Roy Haylock had to tell him it was a fruit salad before filming.
Roy Haylock's goddaughter, Lola Botha, appears in the film.
