1971 was the year of Tina & Ike's grammy award winning cover of "proud mary." Tina has continued to perform this song in her future live tours.

While promoting "all the best" 2004 cd/dvd Tina told a story when that meeting Clearance Clearwater's John Fogerty in the past she admitted that she was the mother of "proud mary" and John Fogerty was the father.
