TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The recurring alien character Morbo in Futurama (1999) was modelled on the aliens in the film.

American-International Pictures released this on a double bill with I Was a Teenage Werewolf (1957) with the tag line "We DARE You To See The Most Amazing Pictures of Our Time!"

The flying saucer built by Paul Blaisdell was also used in the opening scene of The Outer Limits: Controlled Experiment (1964).

In 1965, self-professed "schlockmeister" Larry Buchanan cheaply remade Invasion of the Saucer Men in color as The Eye Creatures, a made-for-television feature for AIP-TV.

Special effects technician Paul Blaisdell, who provided the alien make-up and flying saucer, recalled that Invasion of the Saucer Men was originally intended as a serious film but gradually developed into a comedy.

Popular Dialogues

"Joan: I expected to be frightened on my wedding night, but nothing like this."

"Colonel: Our job is to prevent a possible nation-wide panic by keeping the information from the public."
