TRIVIA

Trivia

The pub featured as The Greyhound is Hennessy's Bar on Castle Street in Tralee, County Kerry. The external signage was changed for just one day. All the exterior scenes featuring the pub were filmed during that 24 hour period.

This is director Emer Reynolds' first narrative feature after several feature documentaries.

Charlie Reid was cast after a search of over 1500 potential young actors.

Shot in the picturesque county of Kerry, the production was blessed with their location manager, Karl King, who had just gotten married and moved to that very part of the world.

The pre-production largely went without rehearsals as Olivia Colman doesn't like to rehearse too much, preferring to be more spontaneous in her performance. This actually aided first time actor Charlie Reid who was able to spark off his co-star and her differing takes of each scene.
