Jeremy Sisto is one of the few actors of Italian decent to portray Julius Caesar. Although Julius Caesar's nationality is Roman/Italian, he has been portrayed in various films, tv shows and others media depictions by British actors.

Chris Noth had previously co-starred in Law & Order (1990) from 1990 to 1995, and would later reprise his role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001) from 2005 to 2008. Jeremy Sisto would later co-star in Law and Order from 2007 to 2010. The two never shared a scene.
