Kanjoos Majnu Kharchili Laila is a Punjabi comedy drama film, which follows the story of a young man and his love interest as they figure out how to make it big in life. Featuring Rajiv Thakur, Sehar Shehnaz, and Nirmal Rishi in lead roles, the movie is known for its quirky plot line and wonderful acting performances. The movie is one of the many Punjabi film flops of this year, especially due to an illogical climax that spoils any reputation that it makes on its way. That said, it is a decent flick if you leave your brains at home and just immerse into the wacky humour that it has to offer you. Rajiv Thakur, comedian, stars in the lead but isn't quite that impressive, and shows how successful comedians like him should avoid the big screen. Further, the story definitely might be relatable to young folks from North India, as it uses tropes from that part of the country. Overall, Kanjoos Majnu Kharchili Laila is a fun Punjabi comedy that can be watched at least once.
