Shiva and Karunakaran, two young men in need of money, plan to steal from their vain sister-in-law Urvashi's high-security vault. Director Kannan gives a tutorial in how not to (re)make a movie with Kasethan Kadavulada, which, for a comedy, neither has any fun moments nor flavour, in the guise of remake a renowned comedy movie from the 1970s. We cannot find a single thing or phrase that makes us grin. One should get an idea of the lack of inspiration behind this effort based on the fact that even the great Urvashi cannot accomplish this. In the end, all that the movie manages to do is a serious insult to both the original and its actors, crew, and viewers.
