IMDbKill Boksoon is a South Korean action thriller film that tells the story of a single mother who plays the secret double role as a professional assassin with a 100% success rate. She encounters a man on her way, who threatens to disclose her identity. The movie's direction and cinematography are on point, as writer-director Byun Sung-hyun has managed to showcase fast-moving fun and creativity through his art. Jeon Do-yeon and Sol Kyung-gu headline the major parts of the film, with help from supporting actors like Park Kwang-jae as Gwang-man, Jang In-sub as Yoon-seok, Choi Byung-mo as Hyun-chul, Kim Sung-oh as Sergeant Shin, and Kim Ki-cheon as Soo-geun. The film's themes of double lives and high stakes are present throughout the film, offering a unique take on the usual action thriller genre. There is criticism regarding the plot being too extended, but it makes up for in the climax. Overall, however, Kill Boksoon is a superb action thriller that is a must watch for fans of the genre.
