TRIVIA

Trivia

Out of 4 short stories, the story of involving Sharman Joshi, Kangana Ranaut and Kay Kay Menon is inspired by the Billy Wilder's movie The Apartment (1960). Kay Kay Menon plays the boss who utilizes Sharman Joshi's apartment to spend time with Kangana Ranaut. Sharman Joshi plays the same role as Jack Lemmon, while Kay Kay Menon plays a similar role as Fred MacMurray and Kangana Ranaut plays Shirley Maclaine.

The story between Shilpa Shetty and Shiney Ahuja is loosely inspired by the lead actors story in the 1945 Hollywood movie "Brief Encounter". Many of the scenes that take place can be compared between the two movies.

Bangladeshi singer Faruq Mahfuz Anam best known by his stage name James made his singing debut in Bollywood movie

Composer Pritam Chakraborty can be seen in the film, playing the leader of a rock band of minstrels. Such bands are often seen playing songs in metro stations. These minstrels appear at important junctures in the film and move the story forward.

Oh Mere Jaan was sampled from Silent Lucidity song Queensrynche.
