Love Birds Review

Love Birds is a Kannada comedy drama film that follows Deepak, a software engineer, who marries Pooja, an independent girl into fashion designing, after finding her on a matrimonial site. What begins as a cheerful scenario leads to bitter-sweet moments and eventually a decision to divorce. The performances of Krishna and Milana Nagaraj are natural and effective, and the comic relief in the story is offered by actors Rangayana Raghu, Veena Sundar, and Sadhu Kokila. The film's dialogue writer, Prashanth Rajappa, deserves to be appreciated for the meaningful lines about relationships and infusing natural humour into the script. The romantic musical score by Arjun Janya is also noteworthy and is shot well by Shekar Satish. That said, the director could have been more careful with the screenplay, especially in the second half. Overall, Love Birds gives a mature outlook on modern relationships, discussing love, trust, and marriage, with ample takeaways for husband and wife to maintain a harmonious marriage.
