Love in Bombay is a 1971 romantic comedy starring Kishore Kumar, Waheeda Rehman, Ashok Kumar and others. Under unusual circumstances, village boy Baadal falls in love with city girl Preeti. Preeti’s father and fiancé both try to make sure the couple doesn’t end up getting married. They end up making one scheme after the other. Jealousy and drama ensues and finally, a challenge is thrown at Baadal. After a lot of hard work, he completes the task and wins Preeti’s hand.

Although completed in 1971 the film was not released. In 2013 the film was restored and finally released in theaters.
Film was to mark directional debut of Joy Mukherjee in 1974.But released in 2013 after a 39 years of delay.
Joy Mukherjee had passed away before it's release in 2012.
