TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Due to continuous conflict and acrimony between drummer Lars Ulrich and producer Bob Rock during the recording of 'Metallica', the pair didn't speak for the best part of 12 months after The Black Album's release.

The album was recorded in 1990. That explains why there is news coverage of the Persian Gulf War.

The first part includes the videos for Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven, and Nothing Else Matters, while part two has the videos for Sad But True and Wherever I May Roam.

Popular Dialogues

"Himself - Guitarist: [Backstage after a show] Jason's making sandwiches to take back to the hotel, because he's too cheap to order room service. We're only going to make millions this year! Himself - Bassist: It is because I'm a cheapskate, you're absolutely right, but we'll see who's laughing last. I've got plans for those millions and it ain't for fucking sandwiches!"

"Himself - Drummer: [At the front desk, checking out of their hotel and reviewing room service bill] Had a sandwich and a grapefruit... $38 bucks. Himself - Guitarist & Vocalist: I didn't eat anything that cost me $40 bucks."
