TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

James Patterson, the author of the Middle School book series, makes a cameo as a manager of the restaurant where they dine for their mom's birthday.

On Rafe's bookshelf, you can see a copy of "Treasure Hunters" written by James Patterson, who also wrote "Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life."

Most of the interior school shots were filmed in the old Westlake High School in Atlanta. Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton went to school there. While most of the school was empty during filming, it still was a working data-center for Fulton County Schools.

Throughout the movie, Rafe is seen wearing two bracelets. One says Rafe in silver letters, the other says Leo, his brother's name.

This will be Andrew Daly's third time playing a principal. He also played a principal in Eastbound and Down and Modern Family.

Popular Dialogues

"Principal Dwight: Hey, uh, just by a show of hands, how many people have a test that starts with the question, "True or false: Principal Dwight has three nipples?" [students laugh and all raise their hands] Principal Dwight: Well, that's a lot of you. Well, it's false. Put false. I was born without nipples for your information, and it looks beautiful!"

"Principal Dwight: [to Mr. Teller] I don't know what stinks more, your attitude or my suit - and that's really saying something, because my suit is covered in poop."
