After actress Rachelle Rose Clark departed the role of Annie Jacobs, Trevor Dow who originated the role of Ryan in Inbetween Nights (2011) was also recast. Ryan David Tsang, who initially auditioned for Danny Baker, ended up winning the role of Ryan Hsu.
Actor Ken Shiode originally accepted the highly demanding role of Mike Ramirez but left the project because it was too challenging. The role was then offered to David Luna but he declined due to the adult content of the part. Trevor Dow was also considered before David Luna changed his mind and accepted the part.
The film was shot on the Canon 5D over a period of two weeks on weekends and scattered weeknights.

Even though Yudho Aditya offered her the part, Rachelle Rose Clark decided not to reprise her role as Annie Jacobs from Inbetween Nights (2011). Many other actresses auditioned, but Amanda Kat Fox, who worked with the director previously in Missed (2013), won the coveted role.
