Principal photography for the movie started on September 30, 2024, at Digbeth Loc Studios in Birmingham and other locations in the West Midlands. Filming also took place in St Helens, Merseyside, particularly at the former Pilkington Watson Street works. The shoot wrapped on December 13, 2024.

In an interview with The Times, Rebecca Ferguson revealed the real reason that she agrees to do this movie because she really wanted to work with Cillian Murphy.
