"Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie" is a French 3D computer-animated musical romantic superhero film that's released in 2023. Directed and co-written by Jeremy Zag, this movie has quite an intriguing story about how the life of an awkward girl and a popular boy is turned into something very different than their usual life by a guardian of magical jewels. They are turned into superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir and are not allowed to reveal their identities in order to protect the city from bad persons. The characters in the movie are given voice by some really knowed names. The original cast includes Anouck Hautbois as Marinette Dupain-Cheng / Ladybug, Benjamin Bollen as Adrien Agreste / Chat Noir, Thierry Kazazian as Plagg, and the Monster, Antoine Tomé as Gabriel Agreste / Papillon, Fanny Bloc as Alya Césaire Alexandre Nguyen as Nino Lahiffe, and Lê Chiến Kim and others. Their voice has given so much more depth to the characters. Definitely, a must watch for all.Â

On May 16, 2019, during Cannes Film Festival 2019, it was confirmed that the movie will be called Ladybug & Cat Noir Awakening. It was revealed that production of the movie is underway and that the film is billed as a romantic fantasy adventure.
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir creator, Thomas Astruc will not be involved with this production.
On December 5, 2018, it was revealed that film will be released in 2021. Its plot will be a mix between the origin of the universe and the ending to Season 5. Finishing Season 4 and Season 5 before the movie is a priority for the studio Disney.
This isn't the first time the Miraculous franchise has dabbled in musical fare, the first time was with the episode "Santa Claws". The other episodes with musical segments include "Deflagration", "Perfection", & "Emotion".
