TRIVIA

Trivia

This film and Going Down (1982) were the debut cinema movies of Australian actress Claudia Karvan which both launched in 1983.

The movie's budget was originally $500,000 (Australian) but this blew-out to Aust $1 million as the production became more ambitious.

Before the picture was made Molly the Singing Dog had appeared regularly on the Australian daytime talk-show The Mike Walsh Show (1969).

Actress Claudia Karvan received an 'introducing' credit.

The film's title refers to the name of a singing dog called "Molly".
