TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The line-up at the 1986 Monsters of Rock festival, Castle Donington (August 16th), was Tommy Vance as Master of Ceremonies and disc jockey, and throughout the day, Warlock, Bad News, Motörhead, Def Leppard, Scorpions and headlining, Ozzy Osbourne.

The gag of Colin Grigson pretended to be his own twin sibling Trevor when Sally interviews him for the documentary was later reused in Guest House Paradiso (1999) which Richie Twat (Rik Mayall) pretends to be his twin sibling Reginald when he meets Gina Carbonara (Helene Mahieu).

As the first Bad News documentary had been four years earlier, many in the audience at the Monsters of Rock festival didn't realise they were a spoof band and pelted them with a barrage of bottles and cans throughout their performance.
