TRIVIA

Trivia

The concert documented in this film is Morrissey's third onstage appearance after being hospitalized and diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer and Barrett's esophagus in the midst of what was to be a lengthy US tour. He was only able to play three more shows after this one. The remainder of the tour was canceled after the singer was diagnosed with double pneumonia.

During the break in the song "Speedway," Morrissey sings several lines from "Asleep," a song he first wrote and recorded as a member of The Smiths. At this point in time, he had not sung this song at any solo concerts (and The Smiths had only played it in concert once). Morrissey eventually played the song live (in its entirety) at various concerts in 2014.
