N4 is a powerful and emotional movie that depicts the lives of people living in the Kasimedu district, a close-knit neighborhood where individuals are brought together by common difficulties and adversities. The movie centers around the two brothers, Suriya and Karthi, who work at the neighborhood fishing harbor and their relationships with their partners. The film successfully portrays the theme of how powerful people oppress individuals in lower social classes, and how fate, destiny, and karma ultimately surprise us. Director Lokesh Kumar successfully builds a world with too many characters, which gradually conveys sobering stories as the movie progresses. The way N4 defies genre norms and convenient clichés is among its most outstanding qualities. The conflicts are out of the ordinary, and the author consistently defies our expectations. The performances in the movie are all top-notch, despite a few stumbles along the way. The two brothers are superbly portrayed by Michael Thangadurai and Afsal Hameed, and Anupama Kumar stands out as the troubled police inspector. N4 is an honest attempt with intense emotions, and it's definitely worth watching. The film highlights the importance of unity and how individuals can come together in difficult times. The impactful investigative sequences and the plot hatched by a few opportunistic police officials keep the audience engaged. The movie also has an excellent background score that elevates the feelings, making it a must-watch for fans of Indian cinema.
