Shesha (Adaa Khan) is the only character who appears in all seasons of this series.
There are many similarities between the seasons of this series: All mothers-in-law are evil, all naagin sidekicks are evil, all naagin mothers are dead, all naagin suspect the husband as villain.
Season 4 is the only season where the naagin sidekick is a human being. Meanwhile, season 5 is the only season where the naagin sidekick is a naag (male serpent).
This series was dubbed in Tami and Telugu as 'Naagin' and in Malayalam as 'Nagakanyaka', with several name changes such as Shreya for Shesha, Yamuna for Yaamini, Karthick for Ritik, and Harish for Ankush.
