Remake of Naken (2000) a Swedish comedy.
The portrait at the back of the classroom early in the movie is of H.G. Wells, author of 'The Time Machine' (1895), likely a reference to the time loop plot.
Marlon Wayans, Regina Hall and Dave Sheridan also worked together on Scary Movie (2000). Wayans and Hall then reunited for Scary Movie 2 (2001). In both movies, Hall portrayed Brenda, the girlfriend of Shawn Wayans' character, Ray.
Regina Hall and Loretta Devine also worked together on Death at a Funeral (2010) (another remake of a foreign movie).
