The Village Shop in Scurlage, Swansea, was closed for filming but shooting was often disrupted by customers trying to get into the shop, believing it was still open due to the lights being on.

Dialogue explaining how to dispose of the undead originally delivered by the Sheriff in the first 'Night of the Living Dead' is delivered in Welsh by a radio broadcaster in this film.

Debuted at #27 on the national UK DVD sales charts in May 2013, the only film in the top 40 that week which wasn't produced by a major American studio.

The main bulk of principal photography took place at Dorinda Cottage near Llandysul in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. The filmmakers rented three cottages at the location, one for shooting and two for cast and crew accommodation. Additional scenes were filmed at the Village Shop in Monksland Road, Scurlage in Swansea and Llanharan near Cardiff.

Principal photography was completed in 12 days. 10 Days in Carmarthenshire, 1 day in Swansea and the final day in Llanharan. Every day of principal photography required 15-18 hours of shooting to stay on schedule and on budget.
