TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

R. G. Armstrong who plays Charles Drake's father was only 5 months older than him.

Charles Drake made several movies with Murphy starting with "Gunsmoke" in 1953. They were also best friends in real life which probably accounts for Murphy getting Drake cast in almost all of his films. Drake is fondly remembered as Brandon in Murphy's "To Hell and Back" in 1955, and he is also featured in the 1950 film "Harvey" with James Stewart as asylum psychiatrist Dr. Sanderson.

Audie Murphy and Warren Stevens both appeared in Gunpoint (1966).

Average & Median Shot Lengths = ~13.1 seconds.

Popular Dialogues

"John Gant: Take two men. Say they have robbed and lied, and have never paid. The man whom one of them has robbed comes to me and says, "Kill that man who's robbed me." And I kill him. The other man becomes ill and would die, except for a physician who returns him to health to rob and lie again. Who's the villain in this piece? Me or the physician?"

"John Gant: Why do you want to kill me, friend? Lou: You know why. John Gant: All right. If you think you can do it, go ahead and try. My hands are on the table. I couldn't possibly outdraw you. So go ahead and shoot."
