James Garner, interviewed while working on "One Special Night," said of Julie Andrews, "Anybody that's ever been around Julie for ten minutes falls in love with her."
The director of "One Special Night," Roger Young, in an interview during the filming of the movie, talked about the kissing scenes between Julie Andrews and James Garner. Young says, "We had a kissing scene yesterday, and he (Garner) thinks with all the retakes and different angles that they've had in all their pictures, they probably have kissed about 500 times."
Neither Julie Andrews nor James Garner said they knew about "their chemistry," but they both said they enjoyed tremendously working with one another.
