TRIVIA

Trivia

During the filming, leading man Bill Campbell was, in real-life, dating actress Jennifer Connelly, his co-star in "The Rocketeer." Jennifer visited the set on several occasions and, for fun, agreed to appear as an extra in the grocery store scene. She and the film's director, Sam Irvin, play a couple in the grocery line behind Bill Campbell.

The video store clerk says that Boris Karloff played the villain in Escape from Uranus, but died three days into production, and was recast with a lookalike. This is a reference to Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957), which featured a posthumous performance from Bela Lugosi, in which his character is replaced by Tom Mason.

A TV show for the Showtime network.
