Peaky Blinders : Series 1 Review

The gangster genre is beautifully depicted in the series titled Peaky Blinders. Everything about the series, from casting, locations, background music, the dark theme, storyline, etc., is absolutely amazing and appropriate. The protagonist Thomas Shelby has a strong and intimidating personality and Cillian Murphy does an exceptional job of playing his character. The supporting actors also complement the protagonist and the whole setting of the series is very captivating. The theme song is extremely catchy and well-suited to the theme of the show. The series highlights several emotions of family, love, betrayal, crimes, war, and more which is absolutely beautiful and it makes it even more entertaining. The plot development takes effortlessly and the wit of the main character is commendable. It is one of those crime dramas that you cannot stop watching once you start. The dialogues and accents are also a huge bonus for the series and it is definitely worth the watch.
