It's established that Buford stole everyone's bikes. If you look closely, you can see some missing bike posters throughout the episode. A "Missing Bike - Call Rob" sign appears in China on a pole in the foreground as the plane bounces through a street scene. A "Stolen Bike - Call Rob" sign appears in Paris on the pole next to Candace when she first sees Jeremy. Whoever Rob is, he sure gets around!
This episode is presented without any version of the opening theme song and title sequence. It simply starts with a zoom-in on the show logo (colored in red) and the episode title, which is colored blue with a brief singing of the title.
This is the first episode to have Phineas shouting angrily at a loved one ("Get on the trike!").
"Candace: Wait, Buford never took my bike. Buford: Noted. Phineas: There's one right there. Candace: Phineas, I'm not gonna get on a silly little tricycle. Phineas: Candace, we're in a hurry, just get on the tricycle... Candace: There is no way I... Phineas: [yelling] Get on the trike! [a frightened Candace does as she is told]"
"Buford: Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by the imagination. Baljeet: Voltaire, Buford? Really? Buford: Oh, I can't help it. Paris does it to me every time."
