The beginning theme song, which is playfully written into a unique story-telling intro each episode, is "I'll Be Fine" by The Bangin' Rackettes.
Thomas Ward (Tom) and Emily Barclay (Ella) are a couple in real life. They had their first baby in 2018.
Every episode is named after something you can ingest.
Josh's first love interest Geoffrey was named after a plastic rooster that belongs to Josh Thomas, star and creator of the series.
The show is actually quite autobiographical. Josh Thomas got the idea to write the show after his real life mother attempted suicide and he realized that he had never seen a show on television with a very real and accurate depiction of events like that.
