Even though this is the eleventh Puppet Master film, it's been titled as the tenth because Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys (2004) is not considered to be part of the series, as according to Charles Band.
The original puppet molds used for the first two Puppet Master films were used to help reconstruct some of the puppets for this film.
The two actors who played Danny and Beth in the previous film, are both recast in this film.
Blade usually opens his mouth and has small spikes that pop out of his eye sockets, but in this movie it did not happen. There was a head built for this to work but it broke down during the production.
Six Shooter was cited as the most difficult puppet to reconstruct due to the budget costs and special effects.
