Story
A paroled short order cook and a waitress go on the run with a bag of diamonds that accidentally falls into their possession, prompting two warring gangs to come after them.

Trivia

In his 2018 self-made documentary The Marcus Chong Story, which he uploaded on YouTube, Marcus Chong claimed that C. Thomas Howell, who is the ex-husband of Chong's cousin Rae Dawn Chong, begged him to appear in the film.

According to Marcus Chong, when Pure Danger (1996) entered post-production, he was cast in the Broadway play "Blade to the Heat." Chong claims his commitment to the play caused schedule conflicts which infuriated C. Thomas Howell because Howell needed Chong to perform voiceover looping for this film.
