When Kirti Kumar sold the music of the film to T-Seirs he didn't ever expect what Gulshan Kumar had in mind. Gulshan Kumar told Kirti Kumar to use Anuradha Paudwal' to sing all the songs in the film. This would mean Anuradha would re dub the songs over Lata Mangeshkar's voice. Kirti said no to the offer,but he would record two more songs in film and take Anuradha Paudwal for those songs.
