Raksha Bandhan' is a beautifully penned story by Kanika Dhillon and Himanshu Sharma which also exposes the reality of society. How a girl's brother and parents are forced to fulfill the demands of the boy and his family in order to save the marriage. The director wisely answered the social evil cause, and how women should take defense steps to keep their self respect which is of utmost importance. It's a realistic movie with a very strong script without any flaws, great screenplay, filled with tons of emotions. Akshay Kumar played the role of a brother so effectively, it looked beyond perfect on screen. Bhumi Pednekar wasn't up to the mark in this movie. All the supporting cast was quite average only. This movie is a roller coaster of emotions. The first half will make you laugh so hard while the other half will swiftly take you to a mode where you can't stop yourself from crying. Overall, a great movie which also gives a positive message at the end.Â
